Just Thinking

Yea, I said it! I am asking all workaholics to come out of the closet!! If you read the title of this post and immediately thought, I am not a workaholic, then you most probably are so please read on. I have designed a five question survey using my patented, very unscientific process to prove to you and everyone who reads this post that we are all indeed workaholics.   If you answer yes to more than one of the questions below then no doubt you are most definitely a workaholic. Do you constantly feel sleep deprived? Or worse, believe 4 hours of sleep per night is normal? Do you have one or two recovery strategies for sleep deprivation (coffee, tea, coca cola, yoga or a cold shower)? Do you randomly remember things you need to do for work when eating, sleeping, hanging out with friends or getting laid? Do you get pissed off when you don't finish your to do list? I will start this post my saying up until now, I never seriously considered myself a feminist and in a lot of ways I still don’t. I am however a strong believer in the “strengths of the sexes” and the different and wonderful ways we can leverage our strengths as men and women to build synergy and balanced social systems. Recently, network marketing has become quite popular. People use phrases such as do you have a "Plan B" and very passionately remind us white-collar workers about how elusive "job security" is and how we all need to have a back up plan just in case our jobs/industry decides to go belly up. I totally agree with the concept and the global economic situation makes it more pertinent but am not personally a fan of network marketing for a host of personal reasons I do not particular wish to debate on the world wide web at this moment or on this post.
